10 packs of 18 CottonSoft 3-ply extra large napkins made from 100% organic cotton - these are 10 times quicker than paper napkins at absorbing fluid, and are made from the short fibres discarded by the textile industry; this requires little processing, so is kind to the environment. Also, as cotton is an annually harvested crop, it does not require the felling of trees. It is biodegradeable and safe to use with septic tanks. Hydrogen peroxide is used early on in the process to destroy bacteria (not to whiten the product), and all traces are washed away before completion. No dioxins are created in this bleaching process and, as the raw material is already white, no further bleach is added to the paper to whiten it. Certified free of chemical pesticides, genetic modification, fertilisers and bleach. No animal testing is involved. These weigh 30 grams and measure 420 x 420mm.
